Luust is the name of a hollow path on the edge of a small village in Bavaria. As a child, the
sometimes gloomy path symbolized a mixture of unease and attraction for me. Various stages,
such as a strange, cave-like entrance and giant white bovists appearing on the slope at certain
times of the year, have imprinted themselves in my memory as archaic images. The trail seemed
to be a sluice to the hilly orchard landscape behind it and, due to the little penetrating light,
was a tunnel-like entrance to a vast, bright world.

recorded between 2022-2025, this is a sonic reference to known and unknown landscapes,
people and places.
